OUR SERVICES
Within the Earsham Benefice we run a wide variety of different services appealing to a range of ages and tastes from the more traditional to the slightly more charismatic as well as informal services for those exploring their faith or new Christians.
All services have music provided either by an organist or a music group, except for the 8am at Earsham and Alburgh and BCP Holy Communion at Hedenham.
A three-monthly rota is organised by the Rector and her P.A. and always discussed at Staff meetings. In order to emphasise teamwork we try to ensure a leader and assistant at each service. We have some Lay Assistants who have been authorised by their PCC’s to assist in this way and have been trained by the Rector. There is a central preaching plan organised by the Rector that is the same in all the churches to ensure continuity of teaching and preaching.
We have a benefice policy of ‘all welcome at the Lord’s table.’
